Where things stood

A lean team, a growing content demand, but not enough hours in the week

Replug.io is a link marketing platform that competes in a crowded SaaS space. For Ahsan Jamal, the brand's digital marketer, organic search has always been one of the most reliable channels for sustained growth. But keeping up with the content volume that SEO demands is a challenge with a small team.

At the start of 2026, Replug's organic traffic had been stuck. The content being produced was decent, but the process behind it was inefficient. Keyword research was done manually, SERP analysis meant jumping between tabs, and identifying which existing posts had started to decay required time and effort that wasn't always available.

The bigger frustration, as Ahsan describes it, was the time taken between identifying a content opportunity and actually acting on it. By the time research was done, and a post was published, the window to capitalise on a keyword opportunity had sometimes already been gone.

The content was fine, but the system behind it wasn't. We were spending more time managing the process than we were actually making progress.

What changed with Contentpen

One workflow for research, writing, publishing, and monitoring analytics

Ahsan started using Contentpen at the start of 2026, initially to streamline keyword research and cut down on the time spent figuring out what to write. The shift was more significant than expected.

Keyword research and SERP analysis, previously spread across multiple tools, became a single step. Ahsan could see what was ranking, how competitive a keyword was, and what gaps existed in the current results, all in one place. Contentpen's blogs were structurally built to rank, covering topic depth, readability, and on-page signals in a way that would have taken far longer to achieve manually.

Direct publishing to WordPress meant there was no handoff step between finished content and a live page. Posts went from creation to published without leaving the platform, which meant that the Replug team could easily maintain their output frequency.

The SEO opportunities feature added a layer that Ahsan hadn't anticipated being as useful as it turned out to be. It helped Replug.io identify pages that were quietly declining and needed attention, and pages sitting just outside competitive positions that could be moved forward with targeted improvements.

What followed

45% organic traffic growth in the first six weeks alone

The results showed up quickly. From 1st January 2026 till the end of February 2026, organic traffic had grown by 45%. In the same time period, Replug.io also gained rankings for 500 more organic keywords, specifically for "Instagram bio examples", and "URL shortener" keyword clusters.

That kind of uplift in that timeframe isn't something most teams expect from content alone. But Ahsan is clear about what drove it.

What surprised me most was how well the AI-generated blogs performed by default. I didn't have to go back and forth repeatedly to reoptimise content. The blogs were ranking-ready from the start, and that's what helped us increase our traffic the most.

Six months in, the gains have held. Replug now has a solid, dependable content system that helps them publish with confidence with the least friction.

Favourite feature

Seeing what's broken and what's almost winning at the same time

When asked which features had made the biggest practical difference, Ahsan came back to two: Web analytics and SEO opportunities. Post-publish analytics sits at the top of the list because having it inside the content creation workflow meant changing content strategies with ease without switching between several dashboards.

SEO opportunities also enable the team's ability to identify quick winners and decaying pages with low CTR. Having it surfaced automatically meant less time diagnosing and more time implementing the changes suggested by AI.
