We're building the content tool we always wished we had
We kept running into the same problem. Publishing aimless content was easy enough, but getting it in front of people was a mess. You needed one tool to find keywords, another to write, something else to check your SEO, a plugin to publish, and yet another to see if any of it actually worked. It was slow, expensive, and honestly a little exhausting.
So we decided to put it all in one place. Contentpen brings the whole process together, from finding the right topics to writing, optimizing, publishing, and tracking how you show up on search and in AI answers.
The idea was simple, to help websites grow their reach without all the busywork. That is still what we work on every day.
The problem we solve
Getting found was harder than it needed to be
Too many tools. A different app for keywords, writing, SEO, publishing, and tracking.
Fixes came too late. SEO problems usually showed up after a post had already flopped.
No view into AI search. No simple way to tell if AI engines were mentioning you.
Quantity over quality. Most AI writers churned out generic posts that never ranked.
What we believe and what we do
Our vision
We think search works best when the most useful content wins, not the biggest budget. We're doing our part to make that the norm and not the exception.
Our mission
We give people a way to create, improve, and publish content that holds up on search and in AI answers, without needing a whole team to make it happen.
Say hello to the team
Writers, marketers, and engineers who got fed up with how hard content used to be, and decided to fix it.

A message from our leadership
The three founders on the kind of product they want to put in your hands.

Good content is only half the job. The other half is making sure it gets found and that you can see the difference it made. That's the part we care about getting right for you.
Waqar Azeem
Chief Executive Officer

I get excited about new tech, but only when it takes real work off someone's plate. At Contentpen the point isn't to use AI for the sake of it. It's to handle the tedious parts of a marketer's day so you can focus on the work that actually needs you.
Muhammad Azhar
Chief Technology Officer

A good tool is only as good as the experience around it. I want Contentpen to be something you can count on, with real people behind it who answer when you need them. That's the part I care most about getting right.

The product values behind every feature we ship
The handful of things we keep in mind every time we add something new.
People first, then search engines
We build for readers before algorithms. When your content actually helps someone, the rankings usually take care of themselves.
Fast, but never sloppy
Contentpen helps you publish quickly, but never by handing you something half-finished. Speed should not cost you quality.
We listen to the people using it
A lot of what's in Contentpen started as a user request. If something feels off or is missing, we want to hear about it.
We follow what actually works
We'd rather show you real numbers than make big promises. Every feature is there to help you see what's working and what isn't.
Built to grow with you
Whether you're publishing one post a month or fifty, Contentpen keeps up with your scale, facilitating you each step of the way.
Honest about what AI can and can't do
We won't pretend AI handles everything on its own. We're clear about where it helps and where a human still makes the difference.

We don't sit still, we develop with the evolving web + AI search
Every update here came from one goal, helping you grow your reach with less effort.
June 2025
Two-step article generation
We added an outline step before the full draft, so you can shape the structure and check the research first. Less rewriting later, more control upfront.
July 2025
Planning, scheduling, and Ghost publishing
List, board, and calendar views arrived, along with drag and drop scheduling and direct publishing to Ghost. Now you could map out a whole content calendar in one place.
December 2025
Topic clusters, a faster editor, and dark mode
Topic Clusters made it easy to group related keywords and build authority. We also rebuilt the editor with slash commands, added Shopify publishing, and shipped dark mode.
February 2026
Analytics and opportunities dashboards
We connected Contentpen to Google Search Console, so you can see clicks, impressions, and rankings without leaving the app. The Opportunities view then points out quick wins, pages losing traffic, and posts worth refreshing.
March 2026
Social publishing and more control over content
You could now push published articles straight to social, give the AI custom instructions with files and links, regenerate drafts, and export keywords to CSV. We added more languages too.
April 2026
GEO Score for AI search
Our GEO Score started checking how well your content is set up to get picked up by AI engines like ChatGPT and Gemini, with one-click fixes for what's missing. We also added version history, Wix publishing, and two-factor login.
June 2026
AI Visibility analytics
You can now track how often AI engines mention and cite you, see your share of voice against competitors, and follow your ranking across ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI, Copilot, and Grok. We also made it simple to share drafts for client review.
What's coming next
What we're working on next
Most of these started as user requests, and they're next in line.
On-brand image generation
We're working on a simpler way to create visuals that match your brand, so your content looks right without extra design work.
Backlinks, built in
We're looking at how to bring backlink workflows into the app, so building your authority doesn't mean switching to another tool.
More hands-off workflows
We're exploring ways for Contentpen to handle more of the routine steps on its own, so you can set things up once and step back a little.
Powerful AI, used responsibly
How we handle your content, your data, and the AI behind it.
Your content is yours
Everything you create in Contentpen belongs to you, to publish, edit, and use however you like.
Original by design
A built-in plagiarism checker verifies originality before you publish, and output is aligned to Google's quality guidelines.
Your data stays private
Your brand knowledge, drafts, and analytics are yours alone, never sold and never used to train public models.
You stay in control
AI does most of the work, but every draft is reviewable and editable and nothing is published without your consent.
